Softsmart Consulting is seeking an experienced Microsoft Office 365 Consultant to be a stronghold in the Cloud Collaboration consulting practice. Consultative skills, excellent
communication skills and know-how of agile methodology are required. The successful candidate will be highly self-directed, an excellent problem-solver and able to work independently
with DevOps team.
Qualifications:
• Must have 8+ years of industry experience on Microsoft Office 365 and Azure technologies.
• Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Responsibilities:
• Exhibits technical experience focused on driving adoption of Microsoft cloud technologies, including Azure and Office 365.
• Possesses a broad knowledge of key end-user scenarios and technical architecture for Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, MS Teams and other Office 365 services.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Office 365 productivity automation services, identity and authentication services, and security and compliance for Azure Cloud Infrastructure with Office 365.
• Troubleshoot Teams implementations, experience with assessing, architecting and supporting Office 365 Groups.
• Analyze, design and deliver solutions on the following Teams platform components.
• Engineering of Microsoft Office 365 Groups, Teams, providing guidance and deep technical knowledge on various Teams architecture elements deployed in an Enterprise environment.
• Capture, triage, troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalate when needed, engage 3rd parties as needed to fulfill support needs.
• Service Health monitoring using Microsoft 365 console and actively respond based on system alerts and notifications.
• Actively participates in projects to implement Microsoft Cloud offerings and capabilities as appropriate.
• Performs ongoing administration and account maintenance of the Office 365 tenant, reflecting the ability to solve problems quickly, develop workflow and processes for operation teams,
and automate processes through writing and maintaining custom PowerShell scripts to remediate any open issues.
• Acts as the primary contact for service escalations and issues troubleshooting, providing third-level support. Resolves client connectivity, client software distribution and mobile
installation issues using Microsoft Office 365 support tools – Remote Connectivity Analyzer (RCA), Microsoft Online Services Diagnostic and Logging (MOSDAL), Transport Reliability IP
Probe (TRIPP) – to analyze Office 365 service reports, auditing log and third-party service reports.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and regulations to ensure safe and sound business operations. Develops and implements software and configurations to apply appropriate
system security mechanisms.
