AgXcel Intelligent Pump Systems

Recognizing a growing trend in liquid based fertilizer systems, and regulatory changes, AgXcel engaged Softsmart consulting to develop a precision, row-by-row monitoring system from product envisioning , to full hardware and software production, and distribution. Softsmart consulting successfully delivered a patent pending system that allows farmers to monitor / remediate in-field issues (e.g. a plugged system), while also capturing and transmitting the raw data through a cloud based farming intelligence system. This farming intelligence system aggregates data (e.g. output of chemical, weather, GPS coordinates) to create visualizations, and reports that aid farmers in: a) taking corrective actions in season, b) make timely decisions faster (i.e. not year over year), and c) obtain advice on optimizations.

Washington State 2012 Elections

The Washington Election Information System (WEI) provides all state citizens a comprehensive voter information site, tools to manage voter registration information, and provides county elections officials tools to improve election administration.

The many components that make up the WEI system were developed in iterations using Microsoft .Net and SharePoint 2007.  As technology and business needs have evolved, the SOS saught to improve the overall solution architecture to achieve a simpler and more maintainable system.  The Office of the Secretary of State of Washington selected Softsmart Consulting to help in the replacement and systems improvement of the Washington Election Information (WEI) system. Part of a broad initiative called Mission 2012, Softsmart Consulting delivered key system improvements to the online voter registration website, candidate filling website, online voter guide, and statewide registration database.
